Dog Day Architecture™ came from an idea to make an everyday item more functional and attractive.  As designers in a design environment we create all day long. When we encountered the problem of the jail-like dog crate, we went looking for a solution!

Many people who have dog crates and cages in their homes just accept them as a fact of life – the crate is an eyesore, but it has to stay.  But, no matter the style or the price range of your home, no one yearns for an ugly crate in their home.

So we created Dog Day Architecture™, which we see as a beautiful solution to an ugly problem!

It has taken over a year of prototyping, sampling different woods and finishes, and testing different breeds to get the right sizing. We work with very talented and skilled craftsmen, marrying great style with great craftsmanship, for comfortable and beautiful pieces.

Dog Day Architecture™ is made up of small group of talented designers, creators, craftsmen and problem solvers.  All our work is performed in the USA and all our components are home grown as well. We use plentiful Birch wood and non-toxic water based stains on all our Dog Day products.
